John’s career began in Chicago agencies for clients as diverse as AmEx, Blue Cross, Marriott, Quaker Oats,
and Museum of Science and Industry. Since moving east for graduate school, he has consulted for many clients including Brandeis, RISD, and the United States Mint. In the last two decades, much of his work has been published or exhibited. Highlights from c.v. below: AIGA, American Center for Design, Emigré, GDUSA, Graphis, Print, Type Directors Club, and UCDA. John is professor of Visual Communication Design at the University of Hartford, and lives a bike ride away with his wife and two daughters.
